Meals & Snacks
What little sugars we use in our meals or snacks come primarily from dates, fruits, or our housemade juices. Occasionally we may add a pinch (i.e. <½ teaspoon) of maple syrup or other natural sweetener to a salad dressing or sauce (these are always served on the side). Some breakfasts and snacks may also contain a pinch of maple syrup or another unrefined sugar as well.
Our juices are only sweetened by the fruits and veggies that comprise them!
